How Do Levity Consultations Work?

This article explains how Levity consultations work, including how to complete the initial online consultation, what the clinical review involves, what happens after prescription approval, what is included in your first shipment, and how monthly check-ins work. Use this article if you want to understand Levity’s online consultation process from sign-up through ongoing follow-up care.

Levity consultations are completed entirely online through the secure Levity patient portal. Most patients do not need to attend in-person appointments, video consultations, or phone calls to begin treatment.

The Levity consultation process is designed to provide a streamlined and remote treatment experience from consultation through ongoing follow-up care.

Initial consultation process

1. Create your Levity account

To begin treatment, create a secure Levity patient account through the Levity platform.

Your Levity account will allow you to:

  • Complete your consultation

  • Upload medical documents

  • Track treatment progress

  • Complete monthly check-ins

  • Communicate with the clinical team

2. Complete the medical intake questionnaire

After signing up, you will complete a medical intake questionnaire containing approximately 17 questions.

The questionnaire typically takes less than 10 minutes to complete.

The Levity medical intake asks about:

  • Medical history

  • Current medications

  • Existing health conditions

  • Weight loss goals

  • Lifestyle information

  • Previous GLP-1 treatment history where relevant

Providing accurate information helps clinicians assess whether treatment is safe and appropriate for you.

3. Clinical review and prescription approval

A licensed Levity prescriber reviews your medical intake after submission.

Clinical review typically takes approximately 1–2 business days.

The clinician may review:

  • Your medical history

  • Current medications

  • Treatment eligibility

  • Safety considerations

  • Uploaded medical documentation

Some patients, particularly those with type 2 diabetes or pre-diabetes, may be asked to provide:

  • Recent lab results

  • Medical records

  • Additional health information

If additional documentation is needed, you will receive instructions through your Levity account or email.

What happens after my consultation is approved?

1. Prescription approval notification

Once approved, you will receive confirmation that your prescription has been issued.

Approval updates are typically sent through:

  • Email notifications

  • Your Levity patient dashboard

2. Order processing and shipping

After approval, your prescription moves into pharmacy processing and fulfilment.

Orders are typically:

  • Processed within approximately 1–2 business days

  • Prepared and shipped within approximately 5–7 business days

Levity shipments are generally sent using FedEx Overnight Shipping.

What is included in my first shipment?

Your first Levity shipment may include:

  • Your prescribed medication

  • Syringes

  • Alcohol swabs

  • Medication guidance materials

  • Treatment support information

Some treatments may also include:

  • Cooling materials

  • Insulation packaging

  • Patient information leaflets

What are monthly check-ins?

Monthly check-ins are required follow-up consultations completed before each refill.

Monthly check-ins help ensure your treatment remains safe, effective, and appropriate over time.

1. Monthly reminder email

You will usually receive a reminder email approximately 1 week before your next scheduled refill date.

The reminder prompts you to complete your follow-up consultation before your next order is processed.

2. Complete the monthly check-in questionnaire

During your monthly check-in, you may be asked about:

  • Your current dose

  • Side effects or symptoms

  • Weight loss progress

  • Appetite changes

  • Treatment response

  • Medical updates

You may also request a dosage adjustment during this stage if appropriate.

3. Clinician review of your monthly check-in

A Levity clinician reviews your monthly check-in responses before approving your next refill.

The clinician may decide to:

  • Maintain your current dose

  • Increase your dose

  • Decrease your dose

  • Request additional information if needed

All dose decisions are based on clinical appropriateness and safety considerations.

Why is timely submission important?

Submitting your monthly check-in before your scheduled order date helps avoid delays in processing and shipping.

Late monthly check-ins may result in:

  • Delayed shipments

  • Your current dose processing without requested changes

  • Additional review delays if more information is needed
