Starting treatment after your initial consultation

This article explains how quickly you can start treatment after your initial Levity consultation, what happens after you submit your medical intake, how long clinical review and order processing usually take, what is included in your first shipment, and how to avoid treatment delays.

How quickly can I start treatment after my initial consultation?

Levity aims to help eligible patients begin treatment as quickly as possible while maintaining clinical safety and prescription review standards.

The time between your initial consultation and receiving treatment depends on:

  • How quickly you complete your consultation

  • Whether all required documents are uploaded correctly

  • Clinical review timelines

  • Pharmacy processing times

  • Shipping and delivery schedules

Step-by-step timeline to start treatment

1. Complete your consultation and upload required documents

After signing up with Levity, you will need to:

  • Complete a medical intake questionnaire

  • Upload required photo documentation

  • Provide any additional medical information requested during review

Required documentation may include:

  • Government-issued photo ID

  • Progress photos or verification images

  • Relevant medical records if requested by the clinical team

Submitting complete and clear documentation helps avoid delays in the review process.

2. Clinical review (typically 1–2 business days)

Once your consultation and documentation are submitted, a licensed prescriber reviews your information.

Clinical review usually takes approximately 1–2 business days.

During this review, the prescriber assesses:

  • Your medical history

  • Current medications

  • Eligibility for treatment

  • Safety considerations

  • Treatment suitability

If additional information is needed, the Levity clinical team will contact you directly by email or through your account.

3. Prescription approval and pharmacy processing

If approved for treatment, your prescription is sent to the pharmacy for fulfillment and preparation.

Pharmacy processing and order preparation typically take 5–7 business days.

During this stage, your order may undergo:

  • Prescription verification

  • Medication preparation

  • Packaging checks

  • Quality assurance checks

  • Cold-chain packaging preparation where required

4. Shipping and delivery

Once dispatched, Levity orders are shipped using FedEx Overnight Shipping.

Most orders arrive the next business day after dispatch, although delivery timelines may vary depending on location, weather conditions, or courier delays.

You may receive shipping confirmation and tracking updates once your order has been dispatched.

What is included in my first Levity shipment?

Your first shipment may include:

  • Your prescribed medication

  • Injection supplies such as syringes and alcohol swabs

  • Welcome materials

  • Treatment guidance and support resources

Some treatments may also include:

  • Cooling materials or insulation packaging

  • Patient information leaflets

  • Sharps disposal guidance

How can I avoid delays when starting treatment?

To help prevent delays with your Levity order:

  • Upload all required documents clearly and correctly

  • Complete your consultation as soon as possible after sign-up

  • Check your email regularly for follow-up requests

  • Respond promptly if the clinical team requests additional information

Incomplete documentation or missing information may delay clinical review and prescription approval.
