The Levity clinical team will review your online consultation to determine whether GLP-1 medication is a good fit for you.
Eligibility criteria
Levity is unable to prescribe GLP-1 medication if any of the following apply to you:
You have diabetes and use injections or tablets, other than metformin, to control your blood sugar.
You are under 18 years old or over 65 years old.
Your BMI is under 27.
You have a history of eating disorders.
You are pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying to conceive.
You have been hospitalized for, or currently have, uncontrolled mood-related disorders such as depression, suicidal thoughts, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia.
You have kidney disease, liver disease, or gallbladder disease.
You have thyroid cancer, multiple endocrine neoplasia, Cushing’s syndrome, acromegaly, or any growth hormone problems.
You have type 1 diabetes or use an insulin pump.
You have a history of bariatric surgery or pancreatitis.
You have glaucoma, seizures, or high blood pressure.
What happens after your online consultation
After you complete your online consultation, the Levity clinical team will review your medical history and current medications.
If the Levity clinical team has any questions or concerns about your medical history or current medications, the clinical team will contact you before issuing a prescription. This review helps ensure GLP-1 treatment is safe and appropriate for you.
