This article explains why Levity is stopping the sale of compounded semaglutide products, what happens to existing paid orders, what happens to active subscriptions, and what treatment options Levity is exploring next. Use this article if you are a Levity patient currently using compounded semaglutide, waiting for a paid compounded semaglutide order, or looking for next steps after this change.
First, we want to thank you for your patience and understanding as Levity navigated several regulatory and supply challenges over the past few months.
Unfortunately, as of Wednesday, April 30, 2025, Levity will no longer be able to sell any compounded products containing semaglutide, including compounded semaglutide formulations combined with B12 and Glycine.
Any compounded semaglutide products that have already been paid for will still be shipped and delivered as planned.
This change follows the FDA’s February 2025 decision announcing the end of the semaglutide shortage. Like many Levity patients, we were surprised by this development, especially given the ongoing high cost and limited access to branded GLP-1 medications.
Since the FDA’s February 2025 decision, Levity has explored every possible legal and clinical avenue to continue supporting patient treatment. Levity’s highest priority has always been to ensure continuity of care for existing customers. Despite Levity’s best efforts, Levity has not been able to identify a viable path forward that allows Levity to continue offering compounded semaglutide.
Levity understands how crucial compounded semaglutide treatment has been for your health journey and how frustrating and disheartening this news may feel. Please accept Levity’s heartfelt apology for this disruption. Levity understands how personal and important this treatment is, and Levity never takes that trust lightly.
While this chapter is coming to a close, Levity remains focused on finding new ways to support your weight loss journey. One option Levity is working to make available soon is liraglutide, an effective GLP-1 medication that may offer an affordable and accessible path for weight loss and weight management. Levity is committed to expanding access to treatment options that fit a variety of needs and budgets.
If you have any questions or need support navigating your next steps, please reach out to Levity. Levity is here for you.
