Liraglutide Dosing & Administration

This article explains how Compounded Liraglutide with B12 compares to semaglutide, how to inject Compounded Liraglutide with B12, how the liraglutide dose titration schedule works, and what to do if you miss a dose. Use this article if you are starting Compounded Liraglutide with B12, switching from semaglutide, or need help understanding your daily injection schedule.

How does Compounded Liraglutide with B12 compare to semaglutide?

Compounded Liraglutide with B12 is a daily injection. Semaglutide is a weekly injection.

Both liraglutide and semaglutide are GLP-1 receptor agonists. GLP-1 receptor agonists were originally developed for the treatment of type 2 diabetes and are now widely used for weight management.

In a 68-week study, semaglutide 2.4 mg weekly led to a mean weight loss of approximately 15% of total body weight.[1]

In a 56-week study, liraglutide 3.0 mg daily led to a mean weight loss of approximately 8% of total body weight.[2]

For safety and optimal results, both semaglutide and Compounded Liraglutide with B12 should be taken under medical supervision and alongside lifestyle changes, including increased physical activity and a reduced-calorie diet.
